Juan Finger is a bassist and producer based in Barcelona, Spain. He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and started at a very young age, recording his first album when he was 17. Juan continued his musical studies in conservatories of Jazz and Argentinian pop music to further his career as a professional bassist. Since 2002 he’s worked with varying artists around Argentina, Europe & USA; developing a versatile style of playing from Cuban music, Funk, Latin Folk, RnB, and Jazz. Juan fell in love with the music and people of Barcelona, so he officially relocated to Spain back in 2018.

Juan is currently the bassist for Fatoumata Diawara (one of the most prevalent artists from Mali) and recorded on her new album London Ko, produced by Damon Alban and Matheu Chedid. He has participated in TV shows and Youtube channels such as: Later with Jools Holland, Tiny Desk, Carte Blanche, C a Vous, La Maison de la radio, France inter ARTE Concert, and Les Concerts Volants. He has recorded and/or performed with artists such as: Fatoumata Diawara, Damon Albarn, Amadou et Marian, Roberto Fonseca, Yemi Alade, Arouna Samake, Lucho Gonzalez, Brenda Navarrete, Marvin Diz, Nahuel Penisi, Clarence Bekker, Hugo Fattoruso, Hernan Gamboa, Bahiano, and many more.
