Philip Chuah is a Session and Touring Bass player based out of LA. After graduating from Berklee College of Music in 2018, Philip moved to LA and has since gotten the opportunity to work with many different artists of differing genres as a session musician.

Some of these artists include: Charlie Puth, Sabrina Carpenter, Stevie Wonder (AMAs 2022), Ciara, Jackson Wang, Jamie Foxx, Quinn XCII, Chandler Moore, Israel Houghton, Travis Greene, Leven Kali, India Shawn, Kane Brown, and many others.

Philip plays a VF5 which the tone, build, and playability of constantly inspires him to grow as a musician. “The way that Fbasses cut through a mix, while still maintaining a robust lowend that’s not muddy, and a midrange that supports a growlier or warmer tone when needed is exactly what I want out of a bass!”
